This week at my oil class Joyce Hall, my instructor, did a demo using a palette knife. She then gave us each a copy of the same photo and we all went to work...palette knives a blazing!What fun! Joyce kept reminding us that it's like frosting a cake! Well I sure have a lot of "frosting" on this baby!
The joy of art, to me, is exploring new mediums, styles and techniques. And this one put a huge smile on my face. I look forward to painting many more with my trusty palette knife!
