I've started this portrait in class of my granddaughter, Sarah Mae. Sarah, now six, was three at the time and very much into dress up. She was sporting an oversized straw hat of mine along with a pair of long gloves that were much to big for her tiny hands.I've roughed in the painting and will complete it in class next week. She needs a lot of work to add dimension and bring her forward more. It's a labor of love as well as a skill challenge, but I'm having so much fun!
